Â
Bootcamp day 3 is when I'll share plenty of PRO tips about how you can divide the eco printing in the 'dirty pot' and wet felting processes into bite sized pieces.
It's going to be packed with information about how you can maximise your time and achieve beautiful results so buckle your seat belts and get your pens ready!
Eco Printing Bootcamp - Day 2
Yesterday was all about preparing for success, today I'll discuss the step by step eco printing in the 'dirty pot' process. Follow along as I share images and information about how I eco printed a felt sample and a cotton t-shirt. Again, I will be happy to answer your questions live so please make sure to drop them into the chat so that others may benefit from the answers too.
If youâve not already watched session 1 I highly recommend doing so before this evening. Each day of the bootcamp builds on the information and knowledge shared from the day before, in this way total beginners can follow.
Eco Printing Bootcamp - Day 1
Today itâs all about keeping things simple. Because there is so much information about eco printing and wet felting flying around on the internet itâs often difficult to get the the root of the issue and know where to start.Â
If you are new to these processes or already have experience in one or both techniques but arenât happy with your results this session is a must!Â

Say hello and tell us a little about you....
Meet Nicola,
Sustainable textile artist and author of the 'Eco Printing in the Dirty Pot' e-book
Three words describe Nicola Brownâs textile practice; simple, natural, and crafted. She harnesses the natural dye in leaves, onion skins, seed pods, and bark to create lasting prints and colour on handmade felt, wool, linen, and silk. This is achieved in a health-conscious and environmentally mindful way without using any harsh chemicals.Â
Since starting to develop a sustainable way of working Nicola has planted over 13,500 trees on her property and laid out large dye borders. These support a diverse selection of butterflies, insects, birds, and mammals which help convey the wider ecological aspect of her practice.
